<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>This position is responsible for helping the Company achieve its ongoing growth plan in the commodities industry.&#xa0; The primary function of this position is business development, mergers and acquisitions encompassing all aspects of an investment project.</p><ul><li>Develop and evaluate growth strategies, investment opportunities, and business expansion initiatives; build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and investment business cases. Evaluate project economics and capital requirements, recommend optimal financing structures, and support project and acquisition financing activities.</li><li>Identify and assess opportunities collaborating with relevant product lines to grow existing businesses and expand into adjacent markets through acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, greenfield projects, and strategic investments.</li><li>Lead and support end-to-end execution of M&amp;A, JV, and strategic investment projects, from opportunity assessment and business case development through due diligence, approval, negotiation, closing, and post-transaction implementation.</li><li>Coordinate and manage cross-functional due diligence workstreams, including commercial, financial, legal, tax, operational, technical, and ESG reviews, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors.</li><li>Prepare and present investment recommendations, strategic analyses, and transaction updates to senior management, executive leadership, and governance committees.</li><li>Monitor the performance of investments and strategic projects against approved business plans, and support integration planning, value creation initiatives, and post-investment reviews.</li><li>Actively contribute to development of corporate strategy of the group (including country / region and business strategic reviews and Board materials)</li><li>Attend and support preparation for investment committees (as required)</li></ul><p><strong>Experiences:</strong></p><ul><li>At least 5 years of relevant working experience in an investment bank, private equity fund, transaction advisory, management consulting company, corporate development, M&amp;A within an MNC.</li><li>Proven experience in evaluating, structuring, and executing strategic investments, joint ventures, partnerships, and M&amp;A transactions.</li><li>Strong project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams in a complex, matrix organization</li><li>Exposure to the commodities, agriculture, food, industrial, or related sectors is preferred</li><li>Exposure to corporate strategy initiatives is preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing objectives, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.</li><li>Ability to travel when needed to meet business requirements.
