<p><strong>Turner &amp; Townsend</strong>&#xa0;is looking for a<strong>&#xa0;Senior Project Manager/Design Review </strong>to join our growing team. The ideal individual will be an experienced design review professional that has supported large-scale construction projects.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><p><strong>Design Review Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage multidisciplinary design reviews across architecture, civil, structural, MEP, systems, and specialty disciplines.</li><li>Establish design review strategy, workflows, and quality standards aligned with program requirements.</li><li>Ensure design packages meet regulatory, code, and client standards, including FAA, airport authority, and local jurisdiction requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Coordination &amp; Interface Management</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate design consultants, engineering teams, and subject matter experts to resolve comments, conflicts, and technical issues.</li><li>Facilitate design review workshops, technical coordination meetings, and issue‑resolution sessions.</li><li>Ensure alignment between design intent, operational requirements, and construction feasibility.</li></ul><p><strong>Constructability &amp; Delivery Integration</strong></p><ul><li>Lead constructability reviews and ensure design packages support efficient, safe, and cost‑effective construction.</li><li>Collaborate with construction managers, schedulers, and cost teams to integrate design with delivery sequencing, phasing, and budget constraints.</li><li>Identify design risks, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule &amp; Milestone Management</strong></p><ul><li>Manage design review schedules, deliverables, and critical milestones.</li><li>Track progress, monitor consultant performance, and escalate risks impacting design delivery.</li><li>Ensure timely completion of design packages and readiness for procurement and construction.</li></ul><p><strong>Quality Assurance &amp; Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee QA/QC processes for all design submissions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and program design criteria.</li><li>Maintain documentation, comment logs, and audit trails for all design review cycles.</li></ul><p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Communication</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for design review communications with clients, consultants, and internal teams.</li><li>Prepare and deliver clear, concise design review reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.</li><li>Support governance boards and leadership with design status, risks, and decision recommendations.</li></ul> <p><strong><em>Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Public Trust security clearance. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the Public Trust investigation.</em></strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience in design management, project management, or engineering for major capital programs.</li><li>Strong background in aviation, transportation, or large infrastructure projects.</li><li>Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design reviews.</li><li>Deep understanding of design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups and drive resolution of technical issues.</li><li>Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with airport authorities, FAA programs, or federal infrastructure.</li><li>Background in design‑build, CMAR, or progressive design‑build environments.</li><li>Familiarity with digital design review platforms (Bluebeam, Kahua, BIM 360, etc.).</li><li>Professional licensure (PE, RA) or certifications (PMP, CCM) preferred.</li></ul> <p><strong><em>Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Public Trust security clearance.
