<p> </p> <p><strong>Purpose of the Role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>To provide the highest possible level of Event Travel Management to key clients, General Manager, Global Head of Event Travel, Team Leads and the Event Travel Team overall.</li> <li>To develop relationships across all areas of Navan sharing best in class market knowledge of Event Travel and thus supporting clients’ key objectives in arranging events</li> <li>To ensure maximum revenue generation in all areas of Navan Event Travel while always ensuring significant return on investment to the client</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>As a primary client liaison of the Event Travel Department, you will further the vision and goals of Navan by providing outstanding support across the US.</p> <ul> <li>Assist our travellers with best-in-class personalized travel support, by helping them resolve issues before, during, and after travel. This may require helping with basic cancellations, changes, and updates to hotel, flight, car, and/or rail bookings.</li> <li>Provide accurate and detailed fare information for hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings, as needed.</li> <li>Work closely with client contacts to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes.</li> <li>Identifies clients' measures of critical success factors for project</li> <li>Maintains thorough project documentation to ensure contract and documentation policy compliance (i.e., service agreements, SLAs, etc.)</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues by regularly referring to our agent tools for guidelines on how to best assist the traveller.</li> <li>Responsible for coordination of program planning from post-sale stage to final billing</li> <li>Participate in regular team meetings to ensure you are up to date on new product launches, industry updates and exciting team initiatives and programs</li> <li>Constantly improve your travel industry and platform knowledge so we continue to set the standard for best-in-class travel managers</li> <li>Training in Navan/R&amp;M Systems</li> <li>Support Team Lead</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>One to three years of Group Travel planning experience preferred</li> <li>Professional oral and written communication skills required</li> <li>Navan TravelXen knowledge is preferred with strong understanding of travel bookings.</li> <li>Proficient MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Suites skills along with the technical aptitude to learn new technology</li> <li>Client facing video calls for setup and project management required.</li> <li>Knowledge of internal communication tools – Slack</li> <li>Ability to multitask with a desire to resolve urgent matters as quickly and efficiently as possible.</li> <li>An empathetic disposition with the ability to always maintain a professional attitude</li> <li>Experience and ability to adapt and thrive in a hyper-growth environment</li> <li>4+ years of GDS experience preferred Sabre including PNR building and ticketing, Amadeus and NDC preferred as well.</li> <li>An independent thinker who can use available resources to troubleshoot issues and resolve customer inquiries.</li> <li>Prior successful experience in developing and maintaining key client and Account Manager/Account Executive relationships</li> <li>Proven record with strong customer service skills and strong CSAT positive outcome.</li> <li>Reliable and flexible with an openness to working non-traditional shifts (early mornings, late evenings, and weekends)</li> <li>An interest in travel with a basic understanding of world geography</li> </ul> <p> </p>
