FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (M/F/D) – CHARACTERIZATION – NORTH-EAST FRANCE

<p><strong>Location: North-East France – ideally based in the Oise department (60)</strong><br> <strong>Full-time – Permanent position</strong><br> <strong>Field-based position – Remote work possible</strong></p><p>Territory :</p><p>The position mainly covers the following departments:</p><p><strong>02 – 08 – 21 – 25 – 39 – 51 – 54 – 57 – 58 – 59 – 60 – 62 – 67 – 68 – 70 – 71 – 77 – 80 – 89</strong></p><p>Candidates <strong>based in the Oise department (60) or nearby are preferred</strong>, in order to facilitate travel throughout the territory.</p><p>As part of the <strong>Service – Characterization team</strong>, and in accordance with Anton Paar's standards and procedures, your main responsibilities will include:</p><p>Technical Support &amp; Field Service :</p><ul><li>Provide technical support to customers by phone, email, and directly on site.</li><li>Install and commission instruments at customer sites.</li><li>Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on site or in the workshop.</li><li>Diagnose equipment issues and identify appropriate technical solutions.</li><li>Prepare the technical information required for repair quotations.</li><li>Plan and carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with Anton Paar standards.</li><li>Perform the required checks, calibrations, and inspections on equipment.</li></ul><p>Service Follow-up &amp; Quality :</p><ul><li>Record and update service activities, reports, and follow-up actions in the CRM.</li><li>Ensure accurate follow-up of interventions and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Ensure that service tools and instruments are available, compliant, and properly maintained.</li><li>Manage service spare parts and your personal stock of tools and equipment.</li></ul><p>Internal Collaboration &amp; Support :</p><ul><li>Work closely with <strong>Application, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Administration teams</strong>.</li><li>Identify and communicate opportunities for equipment replacement, upgrades, or renewal to the Sales team.</li><li>Participate in technical training programs covering Anton Paar product ranges.</li><li>Participate in telephone support according to the internal schedule.</li><li>Occasionally provide backup support for other Field Service Engineers across France.</li></ul> <ul><li>Technical or scientific qualification of at least <strong>Bac +2 level or equivalent</strong>.</li><li>Minimum <strong>3 years of experience</strong> in maintenance, field service, customer support, or technical equipment repair.</li><li>Experience with <strong>scientific instrumentation or laboratory equipment</strong> would be a strong advantage.</li><li>Experience working directly with customers.</li><li>Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently, with a high level of accuracy and organization.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer-service mindset.</li><li>Ability to efficiently organize travel and service activities.</li><li><strong>Professional proficiency in English</strong>, both written and spoken.</li><li><strong>Valid driving licence.</strong></li><li>Willingness to <strong>travel frequently throughout the North-East region of France</strong>.</li><li><strong>Candidates based in the Oise department (60) or nearby are preferred.</strong></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Tools Used :</p><ul><li>SAP ERP &amp; SAP CRM</li><li>Microsoft Office / Outlook</li><li>Anton Paar internal service management and reporting tools</li></ul> <p>By joining Anton Paar France, you will benefit from:</p><ul><li>A <strong>full-time permanent position</strong> within an international company recognized for its technological expertise.</li><li>An autonomous and varied role with direct customer interaction.</li><li>Comprehensive technical training on our instruments and technologies.</li><li>Continuous professional development and training programs.</li><li>A <strong>company car</strong>.</li><li><strong>Company health insurance</strong>.</li><li>All tools and equipment required to perform your duties.</li><li>An international, technical, and collaborative working environment.</li></ul><p>At <strong>Anton Paar France</strong>, we value diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive working environment.
