SENIOR ORACLE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

Accountabilities: • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate current-state processes into optimized future-state Oracle EBS solutions. • Configure, enhance, and support Oracle EBS Financial modules while designing functional solutions for new initiatives, process improvements, automation opportunities, and regulatory requirements. • Develop functional specifications for customizations, reports, integrations, and other finance technology solutions. • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional support, troubleshoot production issues, coordinate resolution with technical teams, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities. • Design and maintain application controls, approval workflows, and segregation-of-duties requirements while ensuring alignment with SOX, audit, governance, and compliance standards. • Define functional requirements for integrations between Oracle EBS and enterprise platforms, including ERP, CRM, banking, tax, payroll, procurement, and reporting systems. • Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, financial reporting, testing, deployment, and end-user adoption activities, including SIT, UAT, training, and knowledge transfer. Requirements: • Bring 8–12+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle EBS Financials, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS 12.1.3 Finance modules. • Demonstrate strong functional expertise across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, iReceivables, E-Business Tax, Subledger Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Advanced Collections, period close, Financial Statement Generator, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. • Have proven experience leading finance transformation initiatives, ERP enhancements, and global implementations within multinational finance or shared-service environments. • Possess strong knowledge of core finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, cash management, fixed asset lifecycle, taxation, compliance, and financial close processes. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions. • Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle EBS upgrades from 12.1.3 to 12.2.x, or platforms such as BlackLine, Concur, Coupa, Kyriba, or Avalara is advantageous. • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, Oracle Financials Certification, or an equivalent credential are valued, as is experience supporting SOX-controlled public-company environments.
