SUPERVISION MANAGER

<p>The Supervision Manager will act as the Consultant’s official representative to UNOPS under the construction supervision contract for a correctional facility project. In this capacity, the incumbent will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Administering the contract in accordance with UNOPS requirements and FIDIC principles;</li><li>Monitoring project schedules, extension of time requests, claims, change orders, and value engineering initiatives;</li><li>Reviewing and managing RFIs, technical submittals, shop drawings, and the Contractor’s work methods;</li><li>Coordinating technical specialists and overseeing site supervision activities;</li><li>Verifying that the works, materials, and equipment comply with the drawings, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements;</li><li>Ensuring quality control, monitoring testing activities, managing non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions;</li><li>Monitoring completed quantities and construction progress against the approved schedule;</li><li>Preparing technical and contractual recommendations, as well as supervision reports for UNOPS;</li><li>Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and social responsibility requirements in collaboration with the HSSE Manager;</li><li>Coordinating with UNOPS, the Contractor, correctional facility authorities, and other project stakeholders;</li><li>Leading the supervision team and participating in coordination meetings, technical review sessions, and contract management activities.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture, or a related field;</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role;</li><li>Experience working on the construction of vertical infrastructure projects, such as institutional, government, correctional, healthcare, industrial, or commercial buildings;</li><li>Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and/or international contract administration;</li><li>Excellent understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes in construction;</li><li>Proven experience in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making;</li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills;</li><li>Fluency in English, both written and spoken.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p> <p>Your benefits</p><ul><li>Retirement savings plan with employer contribution;</li><li>Reimbursement of professional contribution fees;</li><li>Telework policy with a $500 allowance</li><li>Group insurance program starting on day one, including telemedicine;</li><li>Employee and family assistance program (EFAP).</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><em>Please note that Artelia subscribes to the Employment Equity Program and encourages women, visible minorities, Indigenous people, and persons with disabilities to apply.
