CLINICAL DATA ANALYST

Accountabilities: • Extract, clean, validate, and reconcile clinical trial data from multiple sources to identify and resolve discrepancies and maintain high data quality. • Manage clinical data queries and provide support throughout database lock activities. • Review manual and system-generated data listings to identify inconsistencies, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate appropriate resolution. • Support the preparation, maintenance, and organization of Data Management documentation and study-related records. • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for clinical database configurations and setups. • Review study protocols, Case Report Forms (CRFs), and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) screens when required to support effective data management. • Track CRFs and provide support for data entry activities as needed. • Ensure clinical data management activities comply with applicable SOPs, regulatory requirements, ICH-GCP guidelines, and industry standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional study teams and client stakeholders to support study delivery and data quality objectives. • Contribute to study start-up support and other clinical data management activities as required. • Mentor junior data analysts, share knowledge, and contribute to team capability development. • Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality, efficiency, and clinical data management practices. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Nursing, or a related discipline. • Relevant professional experience in Clinical Data Management or the Clinical Research industry. • Hands-on experience with Clinical Data Management Systems such as Medidata Rave, Veeva, DataLabs, ClinBase, or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of clinical data management processes, including data cleaning, validation, query management, reconciliation, and database lock activities. • Knowledge of clinical coding dictionaries such as MedDRA and WHODrug. • Basic knowledge of SAS and CDISC standards. • Good understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, clinical research regulations, and applicable industry standards. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to identifying and resolving data discrepancies. • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality and accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines. • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within collaborative study teams. • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and clinical data management processes.
