IDR COLLECTION SPECIALIST

IDR Collection Specialist<p><span>The <b>IDR Collection Specialist</b> must perform collection activities on <b>NSA Negotiations (We will teach you)</b> and reconcile complex reports related to <b>Independent Dispute Resolution</b>. </span></p><p><span>The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as they will be communicating with outsourced companies. This position requires an individual who can multitask, solve problems,<b> </b>and manage time effectively.</span></p><p><b><span>Essential Job functions and responsibilities:</span></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Investigate, Review the Insurance EOB, and contact payors to collect on formal independent dispute resolution accounts where additional revenue is required to be paid.</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Research errors, payments, fees, reconcile accounts to invoices, and submit IDR requests to ensure proper payment is received and posted to patient accounts. </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Identify posting errors while reconciling payments received. </span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Resolves insurance requests, inquiries, and concerns in an expedient and respectful manner.</span></p><p><b><span>Job Requirements/Qualifications:</span></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><b><span>1 YEAR OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COLLECTION EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED).</span></b></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Excellent organization, time management, self-starting, analytical, and detailed</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><b><span>REQUIRED</span></b><span> Knowledge of EOB, HIPPA, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
