Overview:
The IT Delivery Lead is responsible for driving the successful end-to-end delivery of policy administration and billing technology initiatives, with a focus on quality, timelines, and alignment with business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives across core platforms, including but not limited to policy administration and billing systems.
• Support both implementation of new functionality (e.g., regulatory rollouts, platform enhancements) and ongoing system operations and maintenance.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, product owners, development teams, QA, and vendors to ensure shared understanding and execution of delivery goals.
• Plan, track, and report on timelines, risks, dependencies, and milestones across teams.
• Support environment readiness, data preparation, and deployment coordination.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve delivery challenges to maintain momentum.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in continuous improvement and help scale delivery processes across platforms.
• Contribute to other platform-related initiatives as business needs evolve.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; Master's degree
• preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project/program delivery roles, with a least 3+ years in a delivery lead or IT program manager capacity.
• Minimum 5 years' direct experience with P & C insurance industry systems.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile/Scrum, and/or SAFe methodologies.
• Experience delivering systems in insurance domains such as:
• Policy administration
• Claims management
• Billing and payments
• Customer portals or CRM
• Familiarity with core technologies used in insurance IT environments (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Salesforce, AWS/Azure, etc.)
• Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills across business and technical audiences.
• Proven ability to drive accountability across multiple teams and vendors.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing delivery in complex, regulated environments.
• Ability to quickly assess challenges and remove roadblocks to keep initiatives on track.
• Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
